Automatic & Manual Rising Bollards We can supply and install both manual and automatic bollards. Manual bollards are available in a selection of sizes to suit each application. They are fully galvanised to help prevent against rusting and are usually finished in a black powder coating. They are extremely easy to operate as the locking mechanism is positioned to the top of the bollard. All the bollards we install are fully retractable, this means they do not leave a dangerous trip hazard on the surface of the entrance when the bollard is in its lowered position.

Automatic Bollards Automatic bollards are very robust and are ideally suited to areas where vehicle security rather than pedestrian security is a priority. They can be either operated individually or several units together. Models vary in size and are chosen to suit each individual application. All automatic bollards we install are hydraulic rather than mechanical, meaning they are stronger, more reliable and can cope with higher usage. Automatic security bollards for domestic or light commercial sites have the motor and drive unit in one combined enclosure which is part of the bollard housing itself. The larger more industrial units have a separate air cooled hydraulic pump unit which is sited adjacent to the security bollard
